Twilight Zone (finished)

"no, she's our friend we cant let her...." kaori said she didnt want to say the word die.

"Forcing her to live." Faron said. "Is that what you consider saving?" Kaori looked confused. "She told you nothing." He said more to himself.

"damn right she told us nothing!" Trin said cutting in.

"If you wish to save her then let her fade away." Faron said. He disappered.

Trin's eyebrow twitched again, "a lot of help you are" she shouted at the empty fountain. they decided to ask at the next spirit fountain.

Kaori was thinking a lot on what Faron said as Trin and Ordona were arguing.

'is trying to save her just going to kill her more....' Kaori thought as she tuned out the arguing.

Ordona teleported Trin and Kaori to Lanayru's shrine. He couldn't take Trin anymore. Lanayru appeared. He got a sweatdrop seeing Trin and Kaori. Mostly from seeing Trin.

Trin proceeded to yell at him too which earned even more sweat drops "will you just cool it!?" kaori yelled pushing her off the ledge they were on.

Trin spat out some water when she swam to the surface. "You're here about Mika right?" Lanayru asked. Kaori nodded. "I believe you should hear this from her but knowing Mika's personalility you won't get anywhere. And never find her..." Trin got back on the ledge where Kaori was. "Just tell us already!" Trin scowled. Lanayru sighed. "As you know Mika is the lost princess of the Twili. She is the diseased one as well."

"diseased?" Kaori asked Trin sat shaking water out of her hair

"In the twili royal family, a member will be born diseased. It is normally the men in the family. This doesn't happen often. Mostly once every several thousand years." Trin got a sweatdrop at that. 'How long do they live for?' She continued to shake the water out of her hair. "It is rare for a female to have the disease. She will be know after she fades. In the royal garden there is a garden of orchids. A pale bluish whte one will bloom when a female dies from the disease and a black one will bloom for a male."

"so flowers bloom for the dead?" Trin asked Lanayri nodded "why didnt she just tell us about this?" she asked

"It must be hard for her." Lanayru tried to explain. "She has not been close to anyone since the massacure of her clan."

Trin looked down at her feet 'her clan got massacred?' she thought remembering how her own tribe was betrayed and nearly wiped out. She also remembered when her grandfather took her to the desert to see the gerudos.....there was nothing left.

"She is only trying to protect you and herself." Lanayru stopped, he wasn't sure if he should say more. "Do you know what happens to a diseased one?"

"i didnt even know she had a disease what makes you think i know that?" Trin snapped.

Trin's temper didn't faze Lanayru. "Her body is rotting." He said. Kaori gasped. "She is in more pain than you will ever know. She will fade at the sunrise. She has been waiting for that day for all her life. She will fade away to the embrace of the deity of the new moon."

"heh so she thinks that dissapearing without saying goodbye or without any explanation makes everything better?" trin asked "you dont under...." Lanayru started to say "just shut up about me not understanding!" Trin said

"It is easy to accept the death of someone you hate than someone you cherish." Lanayru said. "That is what Mika tried to do with you two. She tried to get you to hate her. She must have expected you to give up on her. You are not one to follow through."

Trin thought back to what the sage said but it still irked her hearing it again "What are you saying.." she asked

"She expected you to hate her. To leave her to her fate." Lanayru didn't want to speak anymore of Mika. He disappeared leaving Trin and Kaori alone.

'is that what she thinks of me!?' Trin thought she both angry and hurt, kaori just sighed as she sat down "we've talked to all the spirits...but we still dont know where she is." she said

"They proabably don't know where she is." Trin snorted. Kaori sighed again. "Where do you think she'd be?"

Trin thought about it 'where would she go...' she thought 'come on think about it!'
