"what!?" Smoker said seeing the door open "oh its you teresa" he said

Teresa stared at the kid. "Take responbility." She ordered and then left. That made Smoker speechless.

"thank you!" Izumi said as Teresa walked out Smoker was still speechless. "so are you going to say something or just stand there gaping like a fish out of water?" she asked he finally just sat down "where are you staying?" he asked "apartment over in the north district." she said

Teresa waited in the waiting room.

after talking it over Izumi took Lanni by the hand and said she would see him later Lanni waved bye with a big smile on her face

Teresa saw the woman and the kid leave Smoker's office. "If he gives you problems...come see me." Teresa said. She gave Izumi her address.

"thanks i will" Izumi said taking the paper with the address on it.

Teresa walked into Smokers office

"You wanted to speak with me on a matter." Teresa said sitting down on a chair. "You gave her your address didn't you." Smoker said. "What if I did." Teresa remarked. "Why did you?" He asked. "To torment you." Teresa answered.

she groaned "anyway, this is about your last bar fight" he said

Izumi walked with Lanni, "are we going to live with Daddy now?" Lanni asked "something like that sweety" Izumi replied

back at the house Tori was helping Candace and makoto tie their shoes so the could go play outside.

Two hours later Teresa left Smoker's office. The other officers were tense. She said bye to them with a wave. She headed to the nearest bar.

Tori watched her kids play on the small playground at the park. A white blonde haired woman sat next to her on the bench, letting her little girl go play,

On her way to the bar, Teresa saw Tori at the park. She thought about going over. She then saw the kids and decided against it.

Tori said hi to Izumi and the two talked, and it was apparant Candace and Lanni were getting along well too,

Teresa got some vodka. This was one of the bars she didn't normally go to.

Soon they parted ways to go home Candace and lanni waved bye to each other, and she chatted the whole way Tori shook her head and laughed

Teresa headed home a little after Tori left the park.

they got home and had the kids wash up for dinner, Bastet was also home

Teresa headed to her room when she got home. She stopped having dinner with them a year ago.

Tori sat at the table telling Makoto to stop imitating Luffy by blowing bubbles in his milk.

Izumi had packed what little belonging they had and they went to Smoker's apartment, she knocked on the door, he answered "come in" he said after seeing it was her. Lanni had fallen asleep in a reclining chair Smoker and Izumi sat at the kitchen table having coffee neither of them said anything.

Teresa skipped dinner all together. She was working on a painting.

Izumi ended up taking the couch and Smoker was in his own room,

After putting the kids to bed Tori went to bed herself, after letting a tired waffles in as well, Ace came in later and had to push the big dog over.

Teresa stayed up all night even though she had a doctor's appointment in the morning.

The next morning, Tori got up cause Makoto had come in, Ace had the day off so he still slept,

Teresa got only three hours of sleep. She got dressed and didn't bother to shower.

Tori found Bastet reading a book she got from school, "learning lots" she asked "yup" she replied not looking up.
