Romance the Dawn

Kairah nochalantly drank her tea thinking about what she had just said. She wasn't thinking about taking it back, but the thought of a certain princess's anger if she heard her, crossed her mind.

After learning the rebels had already moved Vivi became set on leaving so she could stop them, she thanked Toto, and he had given Luffy Yuba water, Luffy promised to ration it carefully. They were off again setting off across the desert.
Later on their journey Luffy had stopped and sat down saying he quit, the rest didnt fully understand, then he and Vivi got into a fight and he talked some sense into her.
(yeah i'm doing some major fast forwarding..)

'Why does me getting kidnapped feel very fimiliar...' Was the question that went through Kairah's head as she was looking outside of the window of a carriage (don't remeber) that was being driven by a giant turtle. The man she had tea with ended up being the pirate lord Crocodile. She also didn't understand why he even kidnapped her and if this really was kidnapping since she didn't really struggle, seeming very impassive about the situtation.

They eventually hitched a ride on a giant sand crab that Chopper found, along with the camel named eyelashes (forgot about him XD) they sped along the sand dunes.

Kairah ended up at a casino. She was with Crocodile. Crocodile seemed to be amused by Kairah's passive face and she could tell but for reasons she doesn't know, she couldn't easily change her expression like it was a habit beaten into her and wasn't easily broken.

(this might completely out of sequence but oh well...)

They made it to the city where Vivi told them Crocodiles Casino was located.

Luffy's crew got spotted by the marines and crocodile's men. They all went into different directions in order to have a better chance at getting into the casino.

Meanwhile Kairah wasn't aware of the crew precence in the city. She was sitting in Crocodile's office with him. Trying to come up with a escape plan, but she wasn't able to come up with anything. She sighed in her head, keeping her stoic mask on.

eventually after running around and meeting up again they all made it to the casino, Oki stood with her hands on her knees 'so much running...' she thought while Luffy was shouting for crocodile to come out "he's not very subtle is he?" she asked Zoro "no..he isn't" he replied.

Kairah thought was heard Luffy's voice. She was still in Crocodile's office. Robin had gone off somewhere and for once Kairah wasn't aware of it until she heard Crocodile tell her that they were going to leave soon. Kairah was still trying to come up with an escape plan. She was still not able to come up with anything. She had tried to escape before on their way to the city but she was caught by the sand. She knew better than to try again without a thought out plan. The sand was a big hinderence to all her escape plans. She mentally slapped herself for wishing for Luffy to help her. She didn't know him for long but couldn't help but feel...safe around him.

Smoker was right behind them and they ran into the casino where they were "escorted" right into a trap Oki, who was behind all of them fortunately had not fallen for the sign and was expecting the pirates to do the same but she overestimated Luffy's common sense. 'crap this is bad...' she thought.

Kairah was a bit suprised to be left alone. She was at the entrence of the casino. She looked around to take in her surroundings. She noticed that there were many of Crocodile's men and she believed that he'd already given them orders to capture her if she trieid to escape.

Meanwhile with Luffy. Luffy had just did a sanji impression. Crocodile appeared and taunted them. And then Vivi appeared. She tried to attack Crocodile but failed. He tossed the key to the cell into the bananacroc's den and they say one eat it. Then the room began to fill with water making everyone besides Smoker freak out. Then a though came to Luffy. Despite the dire situtation he was still his idiot self. "Hey guys!" He got their attention. Luffy sat down where Smoker was but far enough away from him. He crossed his arms. They all looked at him seeming to forget the fact that the room was filling with water. "Kairah impression." Luffy said, but before any of them could say anything he started the impression," stop panicing. There isn't any use in it. We die, we die. Nothing more, nothing less." Usopp and Chopper were laughing saying that it sounded like what Kairah would say and that that's the most stoic Luffy every sounded. Then they screamed about how could she be calm in this kind of situation.

After being punched in the head by Nami, they were all back to shouting at Vivi to get help or get the key.

Oki meanwhile was qiuetly hurrying down the hall, 'Sanji san wasn't with us hopefully I can find him..' she thought when she ran into somebody.

Kairah found herself with Crocodile and Robin again which she perdicted would happen.

She had ran into a man wearing a fur coat with a gold hook for one of his hands, with him were two women one was tall and wore a white cowgirl hat and the other was short and looked like she didnt very much care for anything at all, "who are you?" Crocodile asked Oki thought this seemed like the guy Vivi was talking about so not wanting to stick around she took off running...again....

Even though Kairah didn't seem to take any intrest in the woman who ran into Crocodile, she had a nagging feeling that she knew that woman. She kept her stoic face on but Crocodile, despite the little time they were together, seemed to have the ability to read Kairah. "Do you know her?" He asked Kairah. Kairah told Crocodile that she had lost her memories.
"I don't know." She said in a very impassive tone.

oki was still running when she stopped and looked back 'she looked familiar..' she thought then shook it out of her mind remembering the others
Crocodile seemed to convince himself that the woman that ran into him was nothing to be concerned about she wasn't one of the strawhat pirates so he Robin and kairah continued on their way.

Kairah wanted to ask, more like demand, to know where they were going to now. She kept silent though. She saw the man's strength and didn't want to risk getting into a fight with him. She didn't care if that thought made her seem like a coward. She couldn't get rid of that nagging feeling that the woman looked fimiliar. She also felt that there was something that she needed to finish.

Sanji had eventually made it to the flooding room in time to save Vivi from a bannagator and then eventuallt got Mr. 3 (who had been eaten by the gators) to use his wax wax power to make a key. They all escaped and then it was noticed "wheres Oki?" Nami asked "ahh you mean shes gone too!?" Luffy shouted after beating up some gators 'we can't trust him with anybody...' Zoro thought.

Kairah was being dragged back to the carriage by sand because of Crocodile. Even though she was being dragged she didn't panic this seemed to only impress Crocodile more. Kairah tried to escape, against her better judgement. She didn't like being so close to a man. The uneasness had been building up for some time as she was with him to the point where she couldn't stand it anymore.

Oki was't to hard to find since she ended up running into them anyway, They were off once again to beat the rebels to the capital they were riding scissors again when all of a sudden Vivi was grabbed by a gold hook and was being taken off the sand crab, Luffy grabbed her in time and threw her back while he was taken.

Robin went somewhere with the carriage. Crocodile and Kairah were left in the desert. Kairah watched Crocodile turn his arm into sand. Soon she saw Luffy come. She was suprised to see him, but didn't show it. Crocodile looked at Kairah to make sure she didn't try to run. She wouldn't try now.

Luffy was surprised to see kairah "oh there you are!" he said with his stupid grin "well at least i dont have to worry about where you are anymore" he said with laugh as he then got serious and looked at crocodile

Crocodile tossed a hourglass down on the sand. Saying that was the amount of time he would give strawhat. He then told Kairah to step a few feet back. Kairah obeyed, but only because of the look Luffy gave her. Telling her to do it. Kairah had never seen Luffy so serious. She didn't believe that he could be this serious. She watched Luffy attack Crocodile. She wanted Luffy to win, but she was a realist. She knew the victor will be Crocodile and her chances of escaping were virtually zero.

They eventually made it to the capitol city, they all wore the same cloaks and were acting as decoys so Vivi could wait for the rebels, the others were pursued by some of Baroque works.

Kairah's eyes slightly widend after seeing Crocodile's attack put a huge deep fissior in the desert. Soon after Luffy pissed Crocodile off more, Kairah couldn't help thinking Luffy as an idiot, Crocodile made the sand around Luffy turn into quicksand. Kairah watched Luffy struggle against the sand, further sinking in. Luffy was able to escape the sand with one of his attacks. Luffy tried to capture Crocodile but Crocodile attacked Luffy's arm and sucked the water out of it. Kairah thought back on the times she was caught by Crocodile's sand. She didn't know that, that man was capable of something like that. She knew he wanted her alive for something but she couldn't figure out what it was that he wanted. Luffy was able to bring his arm back to normal by drinking water. After Luffy attacked Crocodile with water, Crocodile's hourglass was done. Crocodile made a tornado out of sand.
Kairah felt a deep rage build up in the pit of her gut. She didn't know of this Yuba that Luffy got upset about but she knew if Luffy got upset about what Crocodile was going to do then it had to invole innocent people or person. Crocodile pirced through Luffy with his hook. He threw Luffy back into the sinking sand pit. Kairah began walking to the sand pit, to where Luffy was but was stopped by Crocodile. He put his arm in front of her, keeping her from going any farther.
