Duel Monsters

Cj looked up, her mouth full with bites of her burger and some fries, which were sticking out of Cj's mouth about an inch.

"You never change." Tori sat down at Cj's table along with Ryou and Yugi. They all ordered their food.

Cj could only smile as her mouth was too full to even talk.

"I'm hungry..." Teresa said to herself. Mana and Dark looked at her with sweatdrop.

After Cj had swallowed, she spoke. "So what do you guys do for fun around here?"

"Most of us are duellest." Yugi said, showing his deck.

Tori looked at the cards "how do you play that?" she asked

"Pretty pictures!" Cj mumbled through her mouthful of food.

"You guys don't know about duel monsters?!" Yugi asked louder than he attended with a shocked expression.

In the Shadow Realm Teresa was still wandering around. "Maybe it wasn't a good idea to wander." She said to herself. Mana was still out and nodded in agreement. "Maybe I can make a portal again..."
"Do you think that is wise?" Mana asked in alarm. "You have no idea where you're going to wind up at." She looked at Teresa with conceren. Teresa only shrugged and started a portal.
"Alright!" She said excited and proud. "This one is even more stable than the other one. Teresa ran through it with Mana. Teresa ended up in the middle of the road right when a car was coming. The car swearved to avoid her but it wasn't in time. Teresa was knocked down. "Damn." She groanded. "I never thought I would end up getting hit by a car. At least I got hit by a moving one." She joked remembering the time Tori got hit by one that was parked.

"never heard of it" both Tori and Cj said, cj still had her mouth full.

Cj swallowed the food that was in her mouth. "Maybe you could teach us how it's played." She said taking another bite out of her burger.

"Okay. Sometimes it's easier to learn to observation." Ryou said smiling and taking his deck out. Cj went over to Yugi's side of the table to watch how he dueled. Yugi and Ryou started to deul, by the next five minutes Tori looked completly confused and Cj started to show great intrest.

Teresa passed out from the pain. Mana went back into Teresa's soul. The driver came out running over to Teresa. He kneeled down and started to call for a ambaulance. A tall boy with short brown hair came out and stopped him. "Mr. Kaiba why did you stop me. She needs to get to a hospital!"
"Calm down." Kaiba demanded. "By the time a ambaulance gets here it may be too late." He took her in his limo and went straight to the hospital. They were able to get there in ten minutes. A half hour later the doctor came out to give Kaiba a update on how the girl his driver hit was doing.
"How is she?" Kaiba asked.
"Actually much better than I expected." The doctor said in excitment and shock. "She has no internal bleeding or any broken bones. She's very lucky."
"Well, thats good." Kaiba said realived. "When can she be realesed?" He asked.
"In a couple days." The doctor answered. Kaiba was going to protest but the doctor explained that hidden damage can occur and it would be the safest thing for her to stay.

"ehh confused.." Tori muttered trying to follow the game.

Cj watched in amazement as the two played.

Yugi ended up winning the duel. "Do you want to try, Tori?" Ryou asked.

Teresa woke up in a unfimilar setting. "Where am I?" She asked to herself. She sat up slowly, her back was in pain. "This looks like..." Teresa said in wonder. "A hospital." She finished in detest. 'I've got to get out of here!' That thought ran through her head as she took out the iv. She looked around for her clothes, she found them in a cabnet in the corner of the room. She quickly got changed, she slowly opened the door and peaked out to see if it was safe to try to leave. Once she saw that no one was there she quickly left her room, she ran down the hall to a fire escape. "Damn it! It's locked!" She sounded despreated. 'Why in hell would they lock a fire escape?!! These people don't know me!' She screamed in her head. She started to look for another way out. "There has got to be another way out of here." She was starting to panic, she knew she could go through the main entrence. "Wait." She smiled. "Maybe I can."

Tori was begining to grasp the concept of the game.

"You can use my deck." Ryou suggested when he saw Tori's unsure look. "And I can help you, if that's okay with you, Yugi?"
"Yeah, sure." Yugi agreed with a smile.


Teresa decided that she would try to go through the main enterence since no one knows here in this world. She tried walking through the main door. 'Yes!' She thought excited. 'I think I can make it!' Teresa's luck wasn't that good, right when she was about to go through the door she was caught by Kaiba.
"Hey! Where do you think you're going?!" He yelled at her. Teresa tried to run away, but the man was suprisingly fast. He grabbed her and threw her over his shoulder.
"Hey!" She screamed. "Put me down!!" She kept struggling but couldn't escape. 'Great. I have a worse enemy here as well.' She thought as she thought of ways to get revenge.

Tori was actually doing a good job dueling, 'wait a minute i'm having surprisingly good luck....teresa must be having some bad luck..' she thought.

Teresa was put back in her room but this time was tied down. Kaiba was sitting next to the bed in case if she finds away to untie herself. "I'm fine I tell you!" She screamed at him. Kaiba ignored her which made her even more angry. "Listen to me!" She sighed. 'Damn I'm getting a headach.'

'maybe i should be worried but it is teresa...' Tori thought as she continued the game.

Teresa sighed again. "Untie me." She said tired. "I'm not going to try to runaway." To Teresa's suprise Kaiba unbinded her. "Didn't think you would listen to me." She said, sitting up.
"Tell me. Why did you jump in the middle of the road?" Kaiba demanded.
"Hn. I didn't jump in the middle of the road." She turned away from him.

"did i win?" Tori asked "close not quite." Ryou said "but you did very well for your first time." he added "well at least i get the basics now." she said giving him back his cards

"Cj, would you like to have a go?" Yugi asked.

"Can't you have them realese me early?" She whined. He shook his head no. "Why not!? I hate hospitals!" She screamed.
"Alright!" He submited. "If it gets you to stop screaming at me." Kaiba went to find her doctor.

Cj played next, Tori observed.

Kaiba came back with a smirk. "They're going to let you go early." Teresa got a happy look then thought that it was too easy.
"What's the catch?" She asked knowing there was one.
"Since they can't find any records of you. They want me to take care of you since my driver was the one who hit you."
"What?!" She screamed again. Kaiba covered his ears.
"I thought you were going to stop that." He went back to his normal composure. "Wait here." He left before Teresa could protest.
"Damn. Why did I have to say I wouldn't try to runaway." She scolded herself. Kaiba came back with a wheelchair. Teresa looked at him then the wheelchair with a sweatdrop.
