Emily found the staff room again. She stopped caring about being quiet. She still didn't notice that Mikhail wasn't with her. She looked through the desk drawers. She found a ring of keys. "Hope these are it." She went to push the drawer back in but stopped. She felt like there was someone behind her and it wasn't Mikhail. "Mikhail?" She called out in a normal tone. Whoever was behind her didn't answer. She reached for her gun. The being charged at her. It looked like a rotting corpse, but it didn't give off any odor. She kicked the thing's stomach. It stumbled back. She pulled out her gun and shot it, all in one quick move. She kept shooting it as it stumbled to her. The shots didn't faze it. She kept her cool despite the frantic situtation. She then got a idea. She remembered watching her niece play those zombie survival games. Just maybe. She shot the thing in the head. It slumped down and stopped moving. "I guess that works then."

Issue 4:

Mikhail heard the gun shots and he ran to the staff room, he saw Emily standing with her gun and the corpse on the floor "what did you do!?" he asked "easy there Mik, take a good look at it" she said Mikhail scowled at the nickname but he looked at the body, it looked like it would have been dead even before she shot it "what the hell is this some sort of zombie?" he said

Issue 4

"Seems to be." Emily said as she put away her gun. "It died or redied like how in the video games. Glad I remembered my niece playing them." She bent down and turned the corpse over with a gloved hand. She reached into the pocket of it's shirt. There was a access card. She put it in her jacket pocket. "We should get moving, Mik." She walked over to him. "I going to take a wild guess that the best not to linger on your note ment about corpsey over there. Probably more."

Issue 4:

"It's Mikhail...not Mik..." he said "whatever come on lets go" she said, he followed. He had played zombie games before but the possibility of them actually existing was ridiculous to him, but after seeing that thing on the floor he wasnt going to hang around.

The two made their way back to where Emily had found the door where the stairwell was. She told "Mik" to try to unlock it. She had her gun out. He would open the door and she would be the look out.

He tried several of the keys, none of them fit until one finally did, he swung the door open, Emily went to check to see if it was clear to pass through 'i should find something to defend myself with...' Mikhail thought thinking he'd find something along the way.

Emily went down the stairs first. Mikhail was close behind her. She told him to stick close. She was glad she had brought extra rounds with her. Despite her bosses objections. 'Ha in your face, ya fat bastard.' Emily smirked. They reached the bottom of the stairs. "Do you think they'll be in the same building?" Mikhail aske Emily quietly. She told him earlier to be quiet as possible. "Don't know." Emily answered honest. "But we can't waste time searching a whole building." Emily added more to herself. "We could leave a note.."Mikhail suggested. Emily slapped his back, in a friendly manner. "Good idea." She smiled. They figured they were on the ground floor. They found where the front counter would be. If there were people in the hospital they would come here to get out. And if they came here they would find the note anyway. "How are we going to make sure that they rea-" Mikhail said but stopped. He saw Emily spray painting the note on the wall in very large letters. 'Where the hell did she get a pain can?'

Issue 4:

he decided it was better not to ask, After Emily left the message, she motioned for him to follow her out.

Mikhail read the message before leaving. 'So we'll be going to the police station...' Mikhail thought as he followed Emily out.

Issue 5:

Chris and Yakina were still searching the factory, he would call out her name every so often "Natalie!?" he called, he had in his hand her backpack

"She's a child so she's probably hiding." Yanika said, trying to calm down Chris. "We should check the rooms and other possible hiding places." She suggested. 'She looked so scared when she was running.' Yanika thought. 'Was is because she was a alone...but wouldn't a child whose scared just hide and not runaway. This gives me a bad feeling.'

"if she is hiding it may take awhile to find her, when she hides she does it well...." Chris said remembering countless times where he played hide and seek with her and he'd spend hours trying to find her.

Issue 5

"Why was there some needles in her backpack?" Yanika asked. They made her worry. "I also saw some juice and candy."

"Natalie's a diabetic the needles are for her insulin, how long have we been here?" he asked as he checked his watch but his wasnt working. 'shit Martha didnt tell me when Natalie had her last dose' he thought

Issue 5

"So she's in trouble if we don't find her..." Yanika said to herself. She knew they needed to find her fast. By the look on Chris' face. He didn't know when his daughter had her last shot.

"we need to find her now" he said as he quickened his pace to search the factory.

Natalie still sat in the closet her knees were drawn up to her chest as she hugged them, her ears listened to every sound that was made, her head was begining to hurt.

Issue 5

Yanika kept close to Chris. She took out a butterfly pocket knife. He jumped back when he saw the knife. "Don't worry. I'm not going to stab you." She said. "I feel like we're not alone." She added.

Issue 5:

"what do you mean?" he asked "just keep looking" she said as he went to a room "Natalie?" he called into the room, stepping in.

Yanika followed him inside. She closed the door behind them. She didn't know why but she felt it was the right thing to do. The room was light very dim. Yanika saw a desk. She went over to it. She started searching through it to find anything she thought could help. She found some keys and a flashlight. She kept the keys and grabbed the flashlight. She turned it on and looked around the room from where she was standing. "Dr. Moretti. Please don't stray away." She said.

he nodded saying he wouldnt as he searched the room, he opened the closet and any cupboards big enough his ten year old could fit into.

Issue 5

Yanika stayed where she was. Her old senses were starting to come back. she felt like they weren't alone in the room. The presence made the hair's on the back of her neck stand. She quietly put the flashlight on the desk. She kept it on. She waited by it. "Dr. Moretti, come here." She said firm.

He looked at her with a questioning look she just motioned for him, he could see she felt something was wrong, he went over to her. "what is it?" he whispered

Issue 5

"We're not alone in this room." She whispered back. "And I don't believe it's your daughter who is here with us." She added. Her grip tightened on her knife. Chris stepped back when they heard a footstep. It didn't sound normal. It made a sickening squishing noise. Yanika swallowed hard. "We know you're there. Tell us who you are." She demanded. It didn't answer. Chris took the flashlight and shown it on whoever was with them. He gasped and dropped the flashlight. It charged at Yanika or Chris. At the time they didn't care who it was it was after. Yanika kicked it's head. It grabbed her leg. Chris quickly picked up a chair and hit it's head. Yanika was able to get her leg back. She stabbed it's head through the bottom of it's chin, up. She left her knife in it as it fell to the floor. She was breathing heavy. Chris was back with her. It was twitching. After a minute it stopped moving. Yanika knew her knife's blade was long enough to reach the brain. She was now really glad she decided to take it with her to the convention.

"what in the world..." Chris said tossing the chair he still held in his hand as they looked at the creature that now lay dead on the floor, He looked back at Yakina "you alright?" he asked
