"It's ok Natalie" Chris said pulling her from behind him so she stood in front he had both hands on her shoulders she stood fidgeting with the zipper of her coat.

"Is there anyone else?" Emily asked. She went to her serious cop mode. They sweat dropped. "No, not that I know of." Yanika said. Emily sighed. "Is it just you and the boy?" Yanika asked. Emily nodded.
"Hopefully my message will stay so if there is any other people they know where to go. And this place seems safe so far." Emily said. She sat on a desk. "I explored the whole first and second floor. I haven't gone done to the basement yet."

"yeah and thats most likely where all the creatures are.....in the basement" Mikhail said Natalie gave a little gasp "really!?" she asked scared Emily smacked the back of Mikhails head "dont you have any tact?" she asked "your one to talk" he said rubbing the back of his head, Chris sweat dropped

"What should we do now?" Chris asked, trying to keep a fight from happening.
"Like I said before." Emily said now ignoring Mikhail. "I wrote a message." They sweat dropped again. "I planned to wait here for a couple of days to see if others will come." They waited for her to continue. "And that's all I got so far."

"then dont say it like you have something else to say!" Mikhail said she poked him between the eyes, he almost said something to her but Yakina cut in "will you two please try to not draw attention to yourselves, the monsters probably respond to sound and you fighting will not help our situation" this was actually more said to Mikhail

"We've got running water here." Emily said. Yunika nodded. "And I got some food. We just ate but there's still a few cans left." She added. "I also found a shower room but nothing to actually wash with."

"that should be fine" Yakina said, Chris nodded, "as long a we have water we'll be alright for now" he said natalie tugged on his sleeve "papa im hungry" she said, Emily got some of the food and the other three ate Chris shared with Natalie, "i dont think i caught your names" he said to Mikhail and Emily

"I'm Emily Ridgeway." Emily said with a small salute. Chris smiled. "This is mik." Emily said pointing her thumb at Mikhail.

"Mikhail" he corrected "Mikhail Alexandrov" he added Chris nodded "Im Chris Moretti, this is my daughter Natalie" he said she gave a small wave, "why does your voice sound funny?" she asked Mikhail "i have an accent" he said with a sweat drop

"Why do you have a accent?" She asked. "I'm from Russia." Mikhail answered.

"heehee its funny" she said with a small giggle "Natalie dont be rude..." Chris said Mikhail sweat dropped "well...i dont think its funny" he said "yes it is" she said "is not" he said that started a 'nuh uh, uh huh' battle

Emily and Yanika sweat dropped seeing a 19 year old having a argument with a 10 year old. "What do you guys plan to do?" Emily asked Yanika. "I think it's best if we stick together." Yanika replied.

Chris nodded "its better that way than trying to go out on our own" he said Emily agreed, "alright its settled we'll just camp out here for now see if there are any stragglers, im going to check out the basement tommorrow" she said

Issue 9

That night, Chris, Emily, and Yanika took turns on being the lookouts. It was near morning and it was Yanika's turn. Chris was sleeping next to his daughter and Emily was near Mikhail.

It was a couple hours later before Mikhail woke up he sat up and stretched he looked at his watch to check the time. He reached over and shook Emily's shoulder.

Emily moaned and pushed him away. Mikhail gave up. He also didn't want to get punched by her again. "What time is it?" Yanika asked Mikhail quietly.

"7:30" he replied Yanika gave a nod "been quiet?" he asked her

"Yes it's been." Yanika replied. "I do believe Emily is right." She added. He nodded. "I don't think she should check the basement on her own though." Yanika was talking to herself now. "Someone should go with her."

He agreed that she shouldn't go alone, "I can go with her" he offered

Yanika was snapped out of her thoughts by him. "Are you sure?" She asked him. He nodded. "You may be right about there being zombies in the basement."

Mikhail nodded "just wait till Emily wakes up and tell her you're going with her" Yakina said

Chris woke up a hour later and Emily woke up a few minutes after him. She stretched getting up. "Guess I should head down to crypt." Emily said.

Mikhail was grabbing a flashlight making sure it worked "where are you going?" Emily asked "im going with you" he replied
