"Whacha mean my story?" She asked. She had her spoon hanging in her mouth. She tossed him half of a loaf of bread. The unsliced kind.

"you know, where are yah from?" he said taking the half of loaf

"I'm from the south." She said, still had the spoon in her mouth. She dipped a piece of bread in her soup. With her spoon in her right hand she ate the bread with her left. "Are you left handed?" Mikhail asked. "Yep." She answered.

"were you in the military or something..." he asked finishing his bread and soup, he wiped his mouth with the back of his hand

Issue 7

"Yep." She answered. She finished her soup soon after. She ate her bread while laying on her back.

Mikhail leaned his back against the desk "my dad was in the military" he said

"Really now." Emily stayed on her back. She stared at the ceiling. "We're going to stay here for the night if it's still safe in here." She said getting up. "Where you going?" Mikhail asked. "Gotta pee." She said leaving him.

His face went red 'shouldnt have asked....' he thought as he just stared ahead of him at the door

Issue 7

Emily came back twenty minutes later. "What the hell took you so long?!" He whispered yelled at her. "We got running water." She replied.

"running water....." Mikhail repeated "and what about it??!" he said like that wasnt a good explanation

Issue 7

"That means we can flush the toliets and we can wash the pot and bowls." Emily said like she was explaining it to a little kid.

He scowled "and that took you 20 minutes to discover?" he asked she jabbed his forehead

"I also took a look around the station. So far there was no signs of zombies. I also sealed off some places they could get in by." She said. She sat on the desk.

He nodded "good" he said "do you really think anyone else could be out there?" he asked "whether there are or not we'll be here if and when they come" Emily replied, Mikhail nodded again as he stifled a yawn

Issue 7

"You get some sleep. I'll keep a look out." Emily said. She took out her gun.

He would have normally said he was fine and would stay awake, but he closed his eyes thinking he'd only close them for a few minutes.

Issue 8

Yanika, Chris and Natalie made their way to the police station. They had to walk three blocks to get there. Chris averted Natalie's eyes from the sight of a corpse. They didn't take the time to see if it was a zombie or someone who got killed. They were at the front of the police station. Yanika made sure it was safe. Chris and Natalie went inside. Yanika went inside once she made sure they weren't followed.

Issue 8

It was quiet in the police station, they looked around Chris set natalie down as they went further into the station

"Daddy." Natalie. "I smell soup." She said. "You do?" He asked.

"yeah" she said "now that she mentions it i do to" Yakina said they searched until they found the source of the smell.

Issue 8

Yanika opened the door to a office run. She was greeted with a gun pointed at her. "Oh wow. I almost shot ya." Emily said with a small laugh. There was a boy sleeping near her.

Chri breathed a sigh of relief seeing the two other people and the fact the woman hadnt shot them by accident, the entered the room closing the door, he recognized her as one of the security guards from the symposium.

Issue 8

"So did you get my message?" Emily asked. "Yeah..next time don't see red paint." Yanika said.

Natalie was hiding behind Chris, "yeah...gives the wrong impression.." he said agreeing with Yakina

Issue 8

"It does?" Emily just shrugged. They sweatdropped. Emily then realized she didn't put away her gun. She put it away. Then she saw the kid.
